Immersion Program

THE NORDICS PROGRAM

The Desafìa Nordics Immersion Program is a support program for Spanish companies in the digital health sector, designed to help them scale faster by accelerating their internationalization process.

After a careful review of the applications received, the selected companies will be invited to participate in the two-week immersion program in Copenhagen and Helsinki from Nov 18th until Nov 29th 2024. The program will officially start following kick-off days in Madrid, designed to prepare participants.

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Kick-Off session in Madrid to prepare the strategy of each company, prior to the immersion in the Nordics.

  • First-hand knowledge of the The Nordics tech ecosystem.

  • Meetings with main representatives of the Nordics public, private and Life Science ecosystem.

  • Lectures and mentoring sessions with strategic content aiming at the preparation for market entry and the development of a scaling strategy in the Nordic market.

  • Visit to corporate incubators and other innovation realities.

  • Education about legal and tax-related topics.

  • Pitch trainings and presentations.

  • Networking events.

  • Opportunity to generate your own network of contacts.

  • Individual meetings to support the achievement of milestones.

  • Access to a supportive alumni network.

  • Common healthcare culture, where patient well-being and public administration duties are deeply rooted in their health systems design.

  • High degree of bureaucratic digitalization, making it more suitable for scalling up their e-health solutions.

WHO

Spanish companies/startups that:

Are legally constituted and have legal address in Spanish territory.

Are offering products/services that are exclusively manufactured and/or branded in Spain.

Are offering an innovative product/service based on a proprietary technology.

Offer a product/service related to technologies in the deep tech evolution of the mobility or automotive sectors.

Are in a medium or growth stage with a sustainable business model.

Ideally have previous international experience.

Have C-level officers or founders who are fluent in English and will attend the program.

HOW

The Desafía Nordics Immersion Program is made possible through the generous support of our founding partners.

The Program is free.

Participants are only responsible for covering travel, accommodation, and living expenses while in Madrid and the Nordics.
